4. Once the concrete has set, attach the crossbeams to the tops of the posts using galvanized nails or screws (this will help prevent rusting). Be sure that the crossbeams are level with each other before attaching them.

5. Decorate the arbor as desired! You can paint it, add climbing plants, hang lanterns or wind chimes from it, or leave it natural.
